About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Remote Well Integrity Engineer to join their asset integrity team, operating on a fully remote basis. This role focuses on ensuring the long-term integrity and safety of oil and gas wells throughout their lifecycle, from drilling through abandonment. You will provide expert analysis, develop integrity management strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, all while working from your chosen location. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced engineer to contribute to asset safety and performance in the oil and gas sector without the need for office-based work, supporting operations across various global assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement well integrity management systems and programs.
- Conduct risk assessments for well barriers and containment systems.
- Analyze well test data, production logging, and diagnostic information to assess well integrity status.
- Prepare technical reports and recommendations for well interventions, repairs, and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements for well integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in well integrity engineering.
- Strong understanding of well construction, completions, and abandonment practices.
- Proficiency in well integrity software and data analysis techniques.
- Excellent remote communication and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to safety in the energy industry .
