Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer electrical systems for renewable energy installations, ensuring optimal performance and grid integration.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and site assessments for potential renewable energy projects.
• Manage the procurement and installation of electrical components, including inverters, transformers, and switchgear.
• Perform electrical system modeling and simulations to predict performance and identify potential issues.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols for renewable energy installations.
• Collaborate with project managers, environmental consultants, and construction teams in the Brighton area.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on renewable energy.
• 2-4 years of experience in the renewable energy sector or in electrical power systems.
• Familiarity with solar PV , wind turbine electrical systems, or battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Knowledge of grid connection requirements and power quality standards.
• Proficiency in relevant design and simulation software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, suitable for a hybrid work arrangement.
