About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for renewable energy projects, including grid connections, power conversion, and protection systems.
• Perform electrical load calculations, single-line diagrams, and component selection for solar farms, wind turbines, or battery storage systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant grid codes, industry standards, and safety regulations for renewable energy installations.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for potential renewable energy developments.
• Support the commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of renewable energy electrical systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power systems or renewables.
• 2-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with specific experience in renewable energy projects.
• Familiarity with grid interconnection requirements and standards for distributed generation.
• Knowledge of inverters, converters, transformers, and switchgear used in renewable energy applications.
