About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and influential Renewable Energy Policy Advisor to join their organization, operating in a fully remote capacity. You will conduct in-depth research, analyze legislative proposals, and engage with policymakers, industry stakeholders, and governmental bodies to influence decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Research and analyze national and international renewable energy policies, regulations, and market trends.
• Develop policy recommendations and position papers on key issues related to renewable energy deployment and energy transition.
• Engage with government officials, parliamentary committees, and regulatory bodies to advocate for supportive policies.
• Monitor legislative developments and provide timely advice and briefings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with key industry associations, NGOs, and research institutions.
• Organize and participate in workshops, consultations, and public forums related to energy policy.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Public Policy, Environmental Science, Economics, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in energy policy, environmental advocacy, or governmental affairs.
• In-depth understanding of the UK's energy sector, renewable technologies, and climate change policy landscape.
• Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in drafting policy documents and presenting to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
