Renewable Energy Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to oversee the development and execution of innovative green energy projects in the Birmingham area. You will lead cross-functional teams from conception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This hybrid role offers a blend of on-site engagement and remote flexibility, allowing you to effectively manage project timelines and collaborate with diverse teams, contributing significantly to the UK's clean energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects, including site selection, permitting, design, procurement, and construction.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management and project sponsors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in managing large-scale renewable energy projects (e.g., solar, wind, battery storage).
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience with permitting processes and environmental regulations in the UK.
