Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute experimental programs to investigate new chemical reactions and processes.
- Develop and optimize synthesis routes for novel chemical compounds and materials.
- Characterize new materials and products using advanced analytical techniques.
- Scale up promising laboratory processes to pilot plant scale, ensuring feasibility and economic viability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and manufacturing, to transition new technologies.
- Stay abreast of scientific literature and emerging technologies in relevant fields.
Requirements
- PhD or MSc in Chemical Engineering , Chemistry, or Materials Science.
- Demonstrated experience in research and development , with a focus on process innovation or new material development.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and analytical instrumentation (e.g., GC-MS, NMR, SEM).
- Experience with process scale-up and pilot plant operations.
- Strong theoretical understanding of chemical principles and engineering fundamentals.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset.
