Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Research Chemist with a focus on Analytical Chemistry to join their team in Nottingham . You will utilize advanced analytical instrumentation and methodologies to support research and development efforts. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and implement analytical methods for compound characterization using techniques such as HPLC, GC, MS, NMR, and spectroscopy.
- Perform routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and final products.
- Interpret complex analytical data and provide clear, concise reports to research teams.
- Troubleshoot analytical instrumentation and resolve method-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant quality control standards and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience with a variety of analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation.
- Strong understanding of method development and validation principles.
- Excellent data interpretation skills and proficiency with relevant software.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, balancing lab-based work with remote data analysis and reporting responsibilities.
