Research Fellow - Cancer Biology

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute sophisticated experiments in cancer biology , including studies on cell signaling, tumor microenvironment, and drug resistance.
• Utilize a range of molecular and cellular biology techniques, such as genomics, proteomics, and advanced imaging.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data using statistical software and bioinformatics tools.
• Contribute to the development of new therapeutic targets and experimental models for cancer research.
• Present research findings at team meetings, departmental seminars, and national/international conferences.
• Maintain detailed experimental records and contribute to the preparation of manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related life science field.
• Postdoctoral experience or equivalent research experience in a relevant area of cancer research .
• Proven expertise in key areas of cancer biology, with a strong track record of experimental design and execution.
• Experience with relevant techniques such as cell culture, western blotting, PCR, immunofluorescence, and flow cytometry.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and apply bioinformatics tools where appropriate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for scientific inquiry.
