Research Fellow - Molecular Diagnostics

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Fellow to join their pioneering Molecular Diagnostics team, working fully remotely. This role is critical in developing novel diagnostic tools and assays for early disease detection and patient stratification. You will leverage your expertise in molecular biology and genomics to drive innovation in diagnostic technology. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to impactful research, collaborating with a world-class team focused on advancing healthcare through innovative diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop novel molecular assays for diagnostic applications.
• Perform validation studies for new diagnostic platforms and biomarkers.
• Analyze and interpret complex genomic and molecular data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including bioinformaticians and clinicians.
• Prepare manuscripts for publication and present findings at scientific meetings.

Requirements

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in assay development, particularly in molecular diagnostics .
• Strong knowledge of nucleic acid amplification technologies (PCR, qPCR, digital PCR).
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical interpretation.
• Excellent communication and project management skills for remote work.
