This role is crucial for the design, synthesis, and characterization of novel organic molecules for diverse applications. Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute multi-step synthetic routes for complex organic molecules.
• Perform detailed characterization of synthesized compounds using spectroscopic techniques (NMR, MS, IR).
• Optimize reaction conditions and purification methods to improve yield and purity.
• Literature searching and evaluation of synthetic methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance projects from discovery through to development stages.
• Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and prepare technical reports.

Requirements

• PhD in Organic Chemistry or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of post-doctoral or industrial experience in synthetic organic chemistry.
• Proven ability to design and execute challenging organic syntheses.
• Proficiency in modern synthetic techniques and purification methods.
• Experience with analytical techniques for structure elucidation.
• Strong understanding of reaction mechanisms and stereochemistry.
