Key Responsibilities
- Synthesize and modify polymers using various polymerization techniques (e.g., free radical, condensation, controlled polymerization).
- Characterize polymers using techniques such as GPC, DSC, TGA, NMR, and FTIR.
- Develop and optimize new polymer formulations for specific application requirements.
- Conduct research into structure-property relationships of polymeric materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues on research projects, contributing to experimental design and analysis.
- Document research findings in reports and present them to internal teams.
Requirements
- PhD or Master's degree in Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, Organic Chemistry, or a related field.
- Proven experience in polymer synthesis and characterization.
- Familiarity with a range of polymerization techniques and polymer analysis methods.
- Strong understanding of polymer physics and structure-property relationships.
