About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Residential Architect to join their reputable firm in Reading . This role offers the chance to design beautiful and functional homes, from bespoke individual properties to larger residential developments. You will be involved in all stages of the architectural process, from client consultation and conceptual design through to technical detailing and site supervision. This is an ideal position for an architect passionate about creating high-quality living spaces within a supportive and professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop architectural plans for new build and refurbishment residential projects .
• Consult with clients to understand their needs, aspirations, and budget constraints.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and planning application documents.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations, planning policies, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with experience in the residential sector .
• Proficiency in architectural design software, particularly Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of UK housing design standards and building regulations.
• Excellent client communication and project management skills.
• A portfolio demonstrating successful residential design projects.
