About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and client-focused Residential Architect to join their thriving practice in Reading . This role involves the design and management of bespoke residential projects, ranging from new builds to substantial extensions and refurbishments. You will work closely with private clients to bring their dream homes to life, translating their aspirations into beautifully designed, functional spaces. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop architectural plans for a variety of residential projects, including custom homes and renovations.
• Prepare planning applications and building regulation submissions.
• Manage projects from initial client consultation through to construction completion.
• Liaise with clients, builders, and other consultants to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Ensure designs meet client requirements, aesthetic goals, and technical standards.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with experience in the residential sector.
• Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD and Revit .
• Strong understanding of residential building codes and planning policies.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
