About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and client-focused Residential Architect to join their growing team in Sheffield . You will be involved in the design and delivery of a range of high-quality private residences, from contemporary new builds to sensitive refurbishments of existing homes. This role demands creativity, technical proficiency, and excellent communication skills to work closely with clients, translating their aspirations into beautiful, functional, and sustainable living spaces that enhance their lifestyle and neighbourhood context.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop architectural plans for new residential properties and extensions.
• Manage projects from initial client consultation through to detailed construction drawings and site supervision.
• Ensure all designs comply with building regulations, planning policies, and sustainability standards.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, budgets, and aesthetic preferences.
• Liaise with structural engineers, contractors, and other consultants.
• Prepare high-quality visualizations and presentations for client approval.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with a strong portfolio of residential projects.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in residential architecture.
• Proficiency in Revit and other standard architectural design software.
• Good understanding of planning regulations and building codes relevant to domestic properties in the UK.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
