About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Residential Architect to join their esteemed practice in Sheffield . This role focuses on the design and delivery of high-quality residential projects, ranging from bespoke individual homes to larger-scale housing developments. You will be involved in all stages of the design process, from initial client consultations and conceptual design through to detailed technical documentation and site supervision. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse residential typologies within the South Yorkshire region, contributing to a team that values creativity, client satisfaction, and attention to detail in creating desirable living spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop architectural plans for a variety of residential projects, from concept to completion.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and necessary documentation for planning applications and building regulations approval.
• Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Advise clients on design options, materials, and regulatory requirements for residential properties.
• Ensure designs meet high standards of aesthetic appeal, functionality, and building performance.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with experience in residential design.
• Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD and Revit .
• Strong understanding of residential building codes, planning policies, and construction techniques in the UK .
• Excellent design and visualization skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Good communication and client management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively within a team environment.
