SALARY: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum FTE, pro rata + Benefits

LOCATION: Eastleigh, Hampshire

JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Three or four full days per week, or reduced hours spread across five days; genuine flexibility over how the part-time hours are structured

An opportunity to take ownership of quality residential property work and help develop a growing service awaits the successful Residential Conveyancer / Property Solicitor.

Based in an established Eastleigh office, the Residential Conveyancer / Property Solicitor will manage matters from instruction to completion with paralegal and administrative support.

Working closely with estate agents, mortgage brokers and other professional contacts gives the Residential Conveyancer / Property Solicitor scope to strengthen local relationships and support growth.

The environment is personal and solicitor-led, with sensible caseloads and access to experienced lawyers across other practice areas.

Duties

Your duties as the Residential Conveyancer / Property Solicitor include:

• Caseload Management: Manage residential property matters independently from instruction through to completion

• Sales and Purchases: Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases

• Mortgages and Remortgages: Manage mortgage and remortgage transactions

• Transfers of Equity: Handle transfers of equity and other standard residential property transactions

• Client Care: Provide clear communication and a high standard of client service

• Professional Relationships: Work effectively with estate agents, mortgage brokers and other professional contacts

• Local Relationship Development: Build relationships with local property professionals and referrers

• Service Growth: Help develop the residential property offering across Eastleigh and the surrounding Hampshire area

• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with paralegal and administrative support

• Regulatory Standards: Maintain appropriate regulatory, lender and CQS standards

Candidate Requirements

Essential

• Residential conveyancing experience with the ability to manage a caseload independently from instruction to completion

• Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions

• High standards of client communication and service

• Strong organisation and commercial awareness

• Willingness to develop relationships with estate agents, mortgage brokers and other local referrers

• Suitable professional background as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX lawyer

Desirable

• Experience of new-build property, shared ownership or more complex leasehold transactions
