About the Role

Our client is looking for an energetic and results-driven Residential Lettings Negotiator to join their busy branch in Milton Keynes . This is a hands-on role focused on connecting prospective tenants with suitable properties, managing viewings, and expertly guiding clients through the application process. You will be the face of our client's lettings service, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all parties involved in the rental market. Success in this role hinges on excellent customer service, strong local market knowledge, and a proactive approach to securing lets within Buckinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct property viewings with prospective tenants, highlighting key features and local amenities.
• Register new applicants and actively match them with available rental properties.
• Negotiate offers between landlords and tenants, working towards mutually agreeable terms.
• Process tenant applications, including referencing and credit checks.
• Prepare tenancy agreements and manage the handover of keys.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords to ensure a consistent supply of properties.

Requirements

• Previous experience in lettings negotiation or a customer-facing sales role is essential.
• Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of the residential property market in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage a busy caseload.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for property viewings.
