Residential Property Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Residential Property Manager to join their fully remote property management division. You will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring they are well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and all legal and contractual obligations are met. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage diverse property portfolios efficiently from a home-based office. Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of a portfolio of residential properties, including maintenance and repairs.
• Liaise with tenants to address queries, resolve issues, and manage move-in/move-out processes.
• Conduct regular property inspections (virtual or arranged locally where necessary) to ensure high standards of upkeep.
• Oversee rent collection, manage service charges, and handle financial reporting for each property.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant housing legislation, health and safety regulations, and landlord obligations.
• Source and manage relationships with external contractors and service providers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential property management or lettings.
• Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation in the UK.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and remote communication tools.
• Ability to handle tenant relations and property maintenance issues effectively.
