About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Residential Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of properties in the vibrant city of Leeds . This role requires a blend of strong organizational skills, excellent tenant relations, and a keen eye for property maintenance. You will be the primary point of contact for tenants and property owners, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, efficient rent collection, and timely issue resolution. This hybrid position allows for a balance of on-site property visits and remote administrative tasks, contributing to the effective management of residential assets in West Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the rental process, from tenant sourcing and screening to lease signing and move-out procedures.
- Handle day-to-day tenant inquiries, maintenance requests, and resolve disputes promptly and professionally.
- Oversee property maintenance, coordinate repairs with contractors, and conduct regular property inspections.
- Ensure timely rent collection and manage arrears effectively, adhering to legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate property records, lease agreements, and financial statements.
- Liaise with property owners, providing regular updates on property performance and financial reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential property management or a related customer-facing role.
- Strong understanding of landlord-tenant laws and property management best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
