About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and proactive Residential Property Manager to oversee their portfolio of properties in Bradford, West Yorkshire . This role is essential for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of rental properties, managing tenant relationships, and maintaining property standards. You will be the primary point of contact for tenants and property owners, addressing maintenance requests, rent collection, and lease agreements. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a solid understanding of landlord-tenant laws within the UK property sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage tenant relations, including sourcing new tenants, conducting viewings, and processing applications.
• Oversee rent collection and manage arrears, ensuring timely payments.
• Coordinate and supervise property maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Ensure all properties comply with health and safety regulations and legal requirements.
• Handle tenant queries, complaints, and resolve disputes effectively.
• Conduct regular property inspections and prepare detailed reports for property owners.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in property management or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and residential letting practices in the UK.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for dealing with tenants and owners.
• Proficiency in property management software and MS Office.
• Based in or willing to travel frequently within the Bradford area.
