Restaurant Floor Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Floor Manager to lead their front-of-house operations in a bustling dining establishment. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing service staff, maintaining operational standards, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant. This role requires strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding service. You will work directly on the restaurant floor, guiding your team and ensuring smooth, efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service, ambiance, and guest satisfaction.
• Manage, train, and motivate the front-of-house team, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure efficient table management, order taking, and service delivery, responding promptly to guest needs and requests.
• Implement and uphold operational policies, health and safety standards, and responsible alcohol service.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues effectively to maintain customer loyalty and positive reviews.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and timely delivery of food and beverages.

Requirements

• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Restaurant Manager , Assistant Manager, or Floor Supervisor.
• Strong understanding of front-of-house operations , including service standards, staff management, and P&L basics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktails.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's operating schedule.
