Location: Norwich (primarily office/showroom based) with travel to show sites across Essex and London.

The Opportunity

An established, market-leading specialist door and window manufacturer is seeking an experienced Retail & Commercial Sales Manager to lead and grow its sales function.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a clear, data‑driven sales strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the retail and commercial sales teams to achieve ambitious sales and conversion targets.
• Oversee the full sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, structured follow‑up, and consistent conversion performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, developers, contractors, trade partners, and repeat customers.
• Support and attend exhibitions, trade shows, and customer events.
• Promote the company's specialist product range, ensuring its unique benefits are effectively communicated across all sales activity.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
• Produce clear commercial reports, providing insight into performance, opportunities, and future growth.

• Proven sales management experience within the construction, glazing, fenestration, or architectural products sector.
• Strong commercial awareness with a demonstrable record of delivering revenue growth.
• Experienced in leading, developing, and inspiring successful sales teams.
• Confident presenting premium products to architects, developers, contractors, and discerning retail customers.
• Technically minded, with the ability to understand and communicate the benefits of specialist door and window systems.
