About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and visually astute Retail Merchandising Assistant to support their store operations in Nottingham . This role involves assisting with the implementation of visual merchandising strategies, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and effectively to maximize sales. You will work closely with the store management and visual merchandising team to create engaging store layouts, update displays, and maintain brand consistency. This hybrid position offers a flexible work arrangement, combining on-site store duties with remote planning and administrative tasks, supporting the retail presence in Nottingham .

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and maintaining product displays according to merchandising guidelines.
• Ensure store presentation is consistently aligned with brand standards and seasonal campaigns.
• Help manage stock levels on the sales floor, restocking shelves and tidying displays.
• Support the creation of visually appealing window displays and promotional areas.
• Gather feedback from the sales floor on product presentation and customer response.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock organization as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or visual merchandising is beneficial.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for visual aesthetics.
• Good understanding of product presentation and store layout principles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to travel to the Nottingham store for on-site work as required.
