About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and visually aware Retail Merchandising Assistant to support the visual presentation and product display strategies at their store in Derby . You will work closely with the store management team to implement merchandising guidelines, maintain product displays, and ensure the store's aesthetic aligns with brand standards. Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards according to company guidelines and brand aesthetics.
• Assist in the planning and execution of product displays, window designs, and in-store promotions.
• Ensure all merchandise is correctly priced, tagged, and displayed attractively on the shop floor and in relevant sections.
• Regularly check stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to the inventory team.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stockroom, and display areas.
• Stay informed about current retail trends and competitor merchandising strategies to provide input for improvements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail visual merchandising or a related visual display role is preferred.
• A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of style and aesthetics.
• Ability to interpret visual merchandising guidelines and translate them into effective displays.
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift and move merchandise, and work efficiently in a retail environment in Derby .
