About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Retail Operations Assistant to support the management team in their Bristol store. This role is key to ensuring the smooth running of daily operations, with a focus on inventory management, stock replenishment, and maintaining store standards. You will work closely with the store's leadership and associates, playing a vital role in keeping the store efficient and well-stocked. This hybrid role allows for a mix of on-site operational duties and some remote administrative tasks, offering a flexible and engaging work experience for someone passionate about the retail back-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming stock, ensuring accuracy against orders.
• Replenish merchandise on the sales floor efficiently to maintain optimal stock levels and presentation.
• Support inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stocktaking procedures.
• Maintain store tidiness and organization in back-of-house areas and on the sales floor.
• Assist with implementing visual merchandising directives as required.
• Handle operational administrative tasks, potentially remotely, such as data entry or report compilation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail or stockroom environment is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately, both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer literacy for administrative tasks.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks associated with stock handling.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, with a capacity for both on-site and potential remote duties.
