Retail Operations Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and efficient Retail Operations Coordinator to support their retail management team in Reading . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of daily operations, supporting sales initiatives, and maintaining high standards across stores. Working in a hybrid model, you will manage administrative tasks, support inventory, and assist with operational reporting, often remotely, while also conducting site visits to Reading locations. You will be instrumental in streamlining processes and supporting the operational excellence of the retail division.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily store operational activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock counts, receiving, and transfers between locations.
• Support the implementation of new operational procedures and systems across retail stores.
• Prepare operational reports, analyzing data related to sales, inventory, and staffing.
• Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Provide administrative support to the retail management team, managing schedules and correspondence.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an operations support role, preferably within the retail sector.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite , particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, both remotely and on-site in the Reading area.
• Familiarity with retail inventory systems is a plus.
