About the Role

Our client is looking for a results-oriented Retail Operations Manager to lead their retail operations in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is critical for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all store-level activities, driving sales performance, and maintaining exceptional customer service standards. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple retail locations, managing store staff, and implementing strategic initiatives to boost profitability and market presence. This is a hands-on role for a leader passionate about retail excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of multiple retail stores, ensuring high standards of visual merchandising and stock management.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets and profit margins.
Manage staff scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and motivation for retail teams.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to customer service, loss prevention, and operational efficiency.
Analyse sales data and operational metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure a positive and engaging shopping experience for all customers, addressing concerns promptly and effectively.

Requirements

Extensive experience in retail management or multi-site operations.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving operational efficiency in a retail environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyse retail data and make informed business decisions.
Experience with inventory management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software.
A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
