About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and results-oriented Retail Store Manager to lead their vibrant store in Birmingham . You will be responsible for driving sales, managing store operations, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate their team, maintain high visual merchandising standards, and manage inventory effectively. You will play a crucial part in representing the brand and fostering a positive shopping environment for our customers in the heart of the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
• Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and stock management.
• Implement visual merchandising strategies to create an attractive and engaging store environment.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock takes, and minimize shrinkage.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with professionalism and efficiency.
• Recruit, train, and develop store staff to ensure a high-performing team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Strong understanding of retail sales principles and customer service best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with inventory management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software.
