About the Role

Our client is looking for an energetic and experienced Retail Team Leader to join their store in Southampton . This role involves guiding a team of sales associates, ensuring excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the store. You will be instrumental in creating a positive shopping atmosphere and achieving sales targets within this key Southampton location.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of retail staff, providing guidance and support.
• Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently delivered to all shoppers.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, and cash handling responsibilities.
• Help manage stock levels, including receiving, unpacking, and merchandising new arrivals.
• Support the Store Manager in implementing sales initiatives and promotions.
• Maintain store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards throughout the Southampton store.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail role, with some supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A customer-centric approach with a passion for retail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and motivate others.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional evenings in Southampton .
