About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and inspiring Retail Team Leader to guide their team in Portsmouth . This role focuses on supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, leading by example, and ensuring a consistently excellent customer experience. You will be instrumental in motivating the sales floor team, driving sales performance, and maintaining high standards of store presentation and operational efficiency within this busy retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Support the Store Manager in managing store operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
• Ensure all store policies and procedures are followed by the team, including those related to health and safety.
• Assist with the training and development of new and existing team members.
• Handle customer issues and complaints, striving for positive resolutions.
• Contribute to maintaining an attractive and well-organized store environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role.
