About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Team Leader to support the store management in their Portsmouth location. You will be responsible for guiding and inspiring a team of retail associates, ensuring excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall sales performance of the store. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive and productive work environment, empowering the team to meet and exceed customer expectations. You will act as a key point of contact for both staff and customers on the shop floor, upholding the company's standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach retail associates to deliver exceptional customer service and sales performance.
• Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and efficiently.
• Support inventory management tasks, including stock counts and replenishment.
• Motivate the team to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of productivity.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role is essential.
