About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Team Leader to join their store in Derby, Derbyshire . In this hybrid role, you will provide guidance and support to the retail team, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient store operations. You will assist in managing daily tasks, motivating colleagues, and contributing to a positive and productive store environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with retail experience looking to step into a leadership role and develop their skills in team supervision and sales support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
• Assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and processing sales transactions.
• Support the store management in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure merchandising standards are maintained and the store is presented effectively.
• Assist with stock management, including receiving deliveries and restocking shelves.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture, fostering good working relationships.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably with some supervisory experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate others.
• A passion for customer service and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support store management.
• Understanding of retail operations and sales processes.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, as part of a hybrid work arrangement.
