Revit Technician - Building Services Consultancy Location: Leeds Employment: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: 40 hours per week Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
The Opportunity We are recruiting for an experienced Revit Technician to join a well-established Building Services Consultancy, based in Leeds. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing Revit MEP skills while working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary design environment. You will be supported throughout your professional development and have the opportunity to work across a wide range of projects and sectors.
The Role
You will provide technical support as part of a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Building Services Designers, Building Physicists and Document Controllers, delivering projects from feasibility through to detailed and fully coordinated design across RIBA Stages 0-5.
Key Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with Building Services Engineers to produce coordinated drawings Support the delivery of projects within a multi-disciplinary team Coordinate Building Services using Revit MEP Create and amend MEP families, objects, tags and annotations Create legends, schedules and templates Amend drawings using Revit MEP and AutoCAD Deliver project requirements within agreed timescales Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry, regulatory and design standards Provide guidance and support to junior staff and apprentices Follow BIM protocols and project standards Liaise professionally with clients, professional teams, contractors and colleagues at all levels About You The successful candidate will ideally have:
Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP and AutoCAD Previous experience within the MEP / Building Services industry or a similar technical role A strong eye for detail and accuracy Good verbal and written communication skills The ability to use initiative and prioritise workload effectively Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines The ability to work independently as well as part of a team An ONC/HNC or relevant technical qualification would be advantageous What's on Offer
