About the Role
Our client, a renowned architectural firm with a strong commitment to design excellence, is seeking a talented RIBA Part II Architectural Assistant to join their vibrant studio in Cambridge . This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for innovative design and a desire to contribute to a range of exciting projects, including cultural, educational, and residential schemes. You will work closely with senior architects and project teams, gaining hands-on experience in all phases of design and project delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of architectural designs from concept through to detailed design stages.
- Prepare high-quality architectural drawings, visualizations, and presentations using industry-standard software.
- Support the team in the preparation of planning applications and building regulations documentation.
- Conduct research into materials, construction techniques, and sustainable design strategies.
- Collaborate with team members on design critiques and contribute to project discussions.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a RIBA Part II qualification or equivalent.
- Proficiency in architectural software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong design and graphical skills, with an excellent portfolio showcasing design potential.
- Good understanding of UK planning and building regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, keen to learn and contribute in a Cambridge -based setting.
