About the Role

Our client, a renowned architectural firm with a strong commitment to design excellence, is seeking a talented RIBA Part II Architectural Assistant to join their vibrant studio in Cambridge . This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for innovative design and a desire to contribute to a range of exciting projects, including cultural, educational, and residential schemes. You will work closely with senior architects and project teams, gaining hands-on experience in all phases of design and project delivery. Key Responsibilities

Assist in the development of architectural designs from concept through to detailed design stages.
Prepare high-quality architectural drawings, visualizations, and presentations using industry-standard software.
Support the team in the preparation of planning applications and building regulations documentation.
Conduct research into materials, construction techniques, and sustainable design strategies.
Collaborate with team members on design critiques and contribute to project discussions.

Requirements

Successful completion of a RIBA Part II qualification or equivalent.
Proficiency in architectural software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong design and graphical skills, with an excellent portfolio showcasing design potential.
Good understanding of UK planning and building regulations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, keen to learn and contribute in a Cambridge -based setting.
