💼 The Role

Position: Room Leader

Room: Baby / Toddler / Preschool room

Contract: Full-time | Permanent | Term-time only | Monday–Friday

Hours: 40 hours/week, between 7:30am–6:00pm

Salary: £27,100 - £30,100 per year pro rota (depending on experience)

You'll lead the room, guiding both children and practitioners to achieve their very best. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance care, education, mentoring and organisation - all while creating a fun and nurturing environment.

• Leading and inspiring your room team day-to-day

• Delivering high-quality EYFS learning experiences

• Supporting children's development and school readiness

• Building strong relationships with families

• Planning engaging activities that spark curiosity

• Monitoring progress and supporting additional needs

• Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment

• Acting as a positive role model for staff and children

👶 What We're Looking For

✔ Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential)

✔ Previous Room Leader experience

✔ Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)

✔ Passion for early years education

✔ Confidence leading a team

✔ Strong communication & organisation skills

✔ Positive, proactive and caring attitude
