Sales Executive Retentions Team

Sales Executive - Retention's

Edinburgh Park | £26,800-£28,660 + bonus

Ready for a career leap? Your next opportunity could start here.

You don't need years of sales experience or a background in business to build a successful career in sales. What matters is your personality, your ambition and your ability to connect with people.

Maybe you've worked in a contact centre, retail, hospitality, face-to-face sales or another customer-facing role. Maybe you're naturally persuasive, enjoy a challenge and know how to turn a conversation into a positive outcome. If you're confident speaking to people, motivated by achieving goals and ready for something bigger, we want to hear from you.

This is your opportunity to leapfrog into a professional B2B sales career - developing valuable commercial skills, working with business customers and building a future in a growing commercial environment.

What will you be doing?

You'll join a Retentions team, helping businesses across the UK continue their relationships with the organisation. You'll speak with existing customers about their contracts, understand what matters to them and demonstrate the value of staying with the business.

Your day will involve:

Building relationships: Have engaging conversations with business customers, understand their needs and build trust. Winning customers over: Explain services, handle questions and objections, and help customers make informed decisions about renewing their contracts. Spotting opportunities: Identify ways to grow existing relationships, including additional sites and services where appropriate. Making things happen: Work towards targets, manage customer renewals and contribute to sales campaigns. Delivering great experiences: Take ownership of conversations, keep accurate records and work with colleagues to make the customer journey as smooth as possible.Every conversation is an opportunity to make a difference, develop your skills and achieve something you can be proud of.

Who are we looking for?

We're more interested in your potential than a perfect CV.

You could already be working in sales, a contact centre, retail, hospitality, recruitment, account management or face-to-face customer acquisition. Equally, you might be looking for your first real opportunity to move into a commercial career.

You could be a great fit if you:

Love talking to people. You're confident starting conversations, asking questions and building rapport with different personalities. Have a natural ability to influence. You can explain things clearly, overcome objections and help people see the value in an opportunity. Enjoy a challenge. Targets motivate you, you like seeing results and you're determined to keep improving. Bounce back. You're resilient, positive and able to learn from setbacks without losing momentum. Take ownership. You're organised, reliable and committed to following things through. Want more from your career. You're ambitious, curious and excited by the idea of developing new skills and progressing.Previous sales or customer service experience is beneficial, particularly in a target-driven environment, but it isn't all about experience. You'll have the opportunity to develop your product knowledge and commercial skills. A positive attitude, strong communication skills and the right mindset can take you a long way.

Experience with Microsoft Office or CRM systems such as Salesforce or Dynamics is helpful, but not essential.

Why this could be the career move you've been waiting for

This is more than another customer service job. It's an opportunity to build transferable sales skills, gain experience working with business customers and open the door to future opportunities in sales, account management and other commercial roles.

You'll learn how to negotiate, manage customer relationships, identify commercial opportunities and deliver results - skills that can support your career for years to come.

And you won't be doing it alone. You'll join a team where you can learn from experienced colleagues, develop your confidence and build your knowledge as you go.
