About the Role
Our client is seeking a proven and influential Sales Manager to lead their team focused on acquiring and managing enterprise-level clients in Edinburgh . This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in complex sales environments. You will be responsible for setting sales targets, coaching and motivating the sales team, and ensuring the achievement of ambitious revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise sales methodologies, a passion for developing talent, and the ability to drive significant business growth within a competitive market, operating within a hybrid work structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of enterprise sales professionals to achieve individual and team targets.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for acquiring and retaining enterprise clients .
- Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and implement strategies for improvement.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and exceeding customer expectations.
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with company objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise sales, with at least 3 years in a sales management or team leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of complex sales cycles and enterprise solution selling.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model , commuting to Edinburgh as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
