About the Role
Our client, a dynamic leader in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join their team in Aberdeen . This pivotal role involves leading a sales team, developing strategic account plans, and driving revenue growth within the Scottish market. You will be instrumental in expanding our client's market share by fostering strong relationships with key retailers and distributors, ensuring our innovative products reach consumers effectively and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets in the assigned territory.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to foster a high-performance culture.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners .
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new business opportunities and adapt sales tactics accordingly.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment on product launches, promotions, and supply chain efficiency.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven track record in sales management , preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies and achieving significant growth.
- Strong understanding of the Aberdeen and wider Scottish retail and distribution landscape.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
