The Role

• Sales Manager to develop new business opportunities, grow existing customer relationships, and drive revenue growth across their corrugated packaging portfolio.
• The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing profitable new business opportunities while managing and developing key customer accounts.
• The successful candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with a high level of technical corrugated packaging knowledge, enabling them to provide consultative packaging solutions that deliver value to customers and support their growth strategy.
• Identify, target, and secure new corrugated packaging opportunities.
• Develop sales strategies to achieve business growth targets.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects across multiple market sectors.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, market intelligence, and industry contacts.

This role would particularly suit candidates with experience gained within:

• Corrugated sheet plants
• Conventional corrugated packaging manufacturing
• Packaging merchants and distributors
• Independent corrugated converters
• Integrated corrugated packaging businesses

Required experience:

• Proven sales experience within the corrugated packaging industry.
• Strong background in sheet plants, corrugated box manufacturing, packaging merchants, or distributors.
• High level of technical knowledge of conventional corrugated packaging.
• Track record of winning new business and developing key customer relationships.
• Commercially focused with excellent negotiation and communication skills.

The position is field-based and would suit candidates located around Huntingdon, Peterborough, Stamford, Spalding, Bourne, Grantham, Wisbech, Cambridge, Corby, Kettering, Northampton, and surrounding areas
