TeacherActive is looking to recruit enthusiastic and reliable School Administrators interested in working with schools across Scunthorpe and the wider area.

We are keen to hear from candidates who have previous administrative experience, particularly within an educational setting, and are confident managing a variety of office responsibilities.

As a School Administrator, you may be responsible for managing school records, responding to enquiries, welcoming visitors, supporting attendance procedures and assisting with the smooth running of the school office.

We recruit for a range of opportunities, including short-term cover, temporary assignments and longer-term placements, depending on school requirements and candidate availability.

What we're looking for:

Previous administrative experience, ideally within a school or educational setting

Strong organisational and communication skills

Confidence handling telephone calls, emails, records and general office duties

Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems

An understanding of safeguarding procedures and confidentiality

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

A professional, friendly and reliable approach

An enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to undergo the appropriate checks
