About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a highly analytical and data-driven Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist to join their dynamic marketing team. This remote role is perfect for an individual passionate about driving measurable results through paid search campaigns. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing SEM strategies across platforms like Google Ads and Bing Ads to increase website traffic, generate leads, and achieve conversion goals. You will work closely with the broader marketing team to ensure paid search efforts align with overall business objectives, contributing to a culture of performance, continuous improvement, and innovation within a fully remote setup for the Sunderland -based company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive SEM strategies and campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other relevant platforms.
- Conduct keyword research, ad copywriting, and bid management to maximize campaign performance and ROI.
- Monitor campaign performance daily, analyzing data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
- A/B test ad copy, landing pages, and targeting parameters to improve conversion rates and user experience.
- Manage and allocate the SEM budget effectively, ensuring adherence to spending targets.
- Collaborate with the SEO and content teams to ensure a cohesive search strategy and effective landing page experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SEM Specialist or in a similar paid search role.
- In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other PPC platforms.
- Strong understanding of keyword research, bid management, and campaign optimization techniques.
- Proficiency with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is highly desirable.
