Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver stimulating lessons in Chemistry and general science to secondary school students, aligning with national curriculum standards.
• Design and conduct practical experiments and investigations to enhance understanding and engagement.
• Set and mark assignments, providing constructive feedback to students to promote academic progress.
• Monitor student performance and behaviour, implementing strategies to support learning and manage the classroom effectively.
• Contribute to the wider development of the science department and the school's extracurricular science activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
• A degree in Chemistry or a related science subject, with a strong understanding of Chemistry concepts.
• Demonstrable experience in teaching Chemistry at the secondary level.
• Excellent pedagogical skills, including the ability to engage students with complex scientific topics.
