Secondary Supply Teacher | Solihull

£170-£220 per day | November 2026 Starts | Flexible Days & Long-Term Opportunities

Are you a qualified Secondary Teacher looking for more flexibility, regular work or a better work-life balance?

Aspire People is recruiting Secondary Supply Teachers across Solihull for opportunities beginning after October half-term, from Monday 2 November onwards.

Whether you're looking to work a couple of days each week, enjoy the variety of different schools or secure a consistent long-term position, we want to hear from you.

We work with secondary schools across Solihull and the surrounding areas, including Shirley, Olton, Knowle, Dorridge, Chelmsley Wood, Castle Bromwich and Kingshurst.

Work Around Your Availability

Supply teaching can offer an excellent alternative to permanent classroom teaching, giving you greater control over your working week without stepping away from the profession.

We understand that every teacher has different priorities. Some want the flexibility to choose their days, while others are looking for regular bookings or a longer-term position where they can become part of a school community.

We recruit for daily supply, short-term cover, regular weekly bookings and long-term subject-specific teaching assignments.

Potential permanent opportunities may also be available for teachers considering a career move.

What Subjects Are We Recruiting?

We are interested in qualified teachers across the secondary curriculum, including Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Modern Foreign Languages, PE, Computer Science, Design Technology and other specialist subjects.

Whether you're an experienced subject specialist or a confident general supply teacher, we'd be interested in discussing your availability.

Who Are We Looking For?

You will need QTS or QTLS and the ability to deliver lessons confidently within a secondary school environment.

Strong classroom management, adaptability and a professional approach are essential.

For daily supply assignments, lessons will generally be planned in advance, allowing you to focus on delivering the work, supporting pupils and maintaining positive classroom routines.

Longer-term teaching positions may involve planning, marking, assessment and wider departmental responsibilities.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers, Early Career Teachers, teachers returning to education and those considering a move away from permanent employment.
