Section Manager – Prepared (RTC)

We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Section Manager who loves getting stuck in, leading teams to deliver results, and driving continuous improvement. • Lead the day-to-day running of an important RTC production section, keeping operations moving smoothly.

• Drive performance against targets and audit standards including BRC, TFS, SMETA (and others).

Shift pattern: Week 1 – Wednesday and Thursday. Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Hours: 06:00 to Finish

Salary: £41,193 per annum

What you’ll be doing

• Manage all processes in your area to meet business targets and audit requirements.

• Oversee and lead production to deliver output, quality and compliance.

• Own labour planning and cost control, including management of agency workers.

• Lead and develop your team (team size varies by area), ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time.

• Drive profitability of the production operation through efficient, controlled operations.

• Ensure allergen awareness and controls are understood and implemented (RTC only).

• Drive continuous improvement across operations, process and standards.

• Maintain customer service levels in line with agreed targets.

What we want from you

• Previous experience in food manufacturing.

• Previous experience of leading teams and delivering results.

• Strong understanding of technical and compliance requirements.

• IOSH certified.

• Food Safety Level 3.
