Security Awareness & Training Specialist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a passionate and creative Security Awareness & Training Specialist to join their security team in Cambridge . This role is critical in fostering a strong security culture throughout the organization by educating employees on cybersecurity risks and best practices. You will be responsible for developing engaging training materials, delivering awareness campaigns, and measuring their effectiveness. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a knack for simplifying complex security concepts for a broad audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive security awareness and training program for all employees.
• Create engaging training content, including presentations, videos, interactive modules, and newsletters.
• Conduct regular training sessions and phishing simulation exercises.
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of training initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends to inform training content.
• Collaborate with HR and internal communications teams to promote security awareness.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and delivering security awareness training programs.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and common threats.
• Excellent content creation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical security concepts into easily understandable language.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and training platforms is a plus.
• Passion for cybersecurity education and fostering positive behavior change.
