About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and engaging Security Awareness & Training Specialist to join their information security team in Brighton . This role is critical in fostering a security-conscious culture throughout the organization by developing and delivering effective security awareness programs and training initiatives. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing training platforms, and measuring the effectiveness of awareness campaigns. The ideal candidate is passionate about cybersecurity education and skilled in communicating complex security concepts in an accessible manner to a diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive security awareness and training program for all employees.
• Create engaging and informative training materials, including presentations, videos, and interactive modules.
• Conduct regular training sessions and phishing simulations to reinforce security best practices.
• Track and report on the effectiveness of training programs and awareness campaigns.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends relevant to employee education.
• Collaborate with various departments to tailor training content to specific roles and risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, preferably in a cybersecurity context.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and content creation skills.
• Familiarity with common cybersecurity threats and best practices.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) or training platforms is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
