Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security infrastructure and systems for potential threats and vulnerabilities using SIEM and other security tools.
• Analyze security alerts, logs, and events to identify and investigate potential security incidents.
• Perform initial triage and response actions for security incidents, escalating as necessary.
• Document security events, incident details, and response actions accurately.
• Assist in the development and refinement of SOC procedures and playbooks.
• Collaborate with other IT and security teams to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar security monitoring role.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions.
• Understanding of common cyber attack vectors and threat intelligence.
• Basic knowledge of networking protocols and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a shift-based operational environment.
