Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from various security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR).
• Investigate potential security incidents, performing initial triage and analysis.
• Escalate confirmed incidents to senior analysts or the incident response team.
• Assist in the development and refinement of SOC playbooks and procedures.
• Contribute to threat intelligence gathering and analysis.
• Maintain accurate documentation of security events and actions taken.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably within a SOC environment .
• Familiarity with security concepts, networking, and common attack vectors.
• Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical information clearly.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
