SEN Intervention Specialist, Ashford

Academics are currently recruiting for a SEN Intervention Specialist to join a welcoming and supportive school in Ashford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, patient and dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them reach their full potential.

You will be working closely with pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASC, SEMH and ADHD, providing tailored support to help develop both their academic abilities and social skills.

The role will involve delivering targeted interventions, supporting pupils with their learning, encouraging positive behaviour and helping children build confidence, independence and meaningful relationships with their peers.

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASC, SEMH and ADHD.

Be confident building positive and trusting relationships with pupils.

Have a patient, empathetic and adaptable approach.

Be passionate about supporting both academic progress and social development.

Be able to encourage positive behaviour, engagement and independence.

Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
