Are you a caring, patient and dedicated individual with experience supporting children with additional needs?
We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work within primary, secondary and specialist schools across Derbyshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a range of special educational needs and help them reach their full potential both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND Supporting children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs Assisting with classroom activities and learning programmes Encouraging positive behaviour and pupil engagement Supporting pupils' emotional, social and academic development Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals
Requirements
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND A patient, compassionate and resilient approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff Experience within education, care or support work is desirable Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
